Our Francis turbines are designed for heads generally located between Kaplan and Pelton ranges.

These machines are all equipped with movable distributor blades carefully finished.  The Francis runners (simples or doubles) are melt in one piece of stainless steel and carefully machined and finished. The distributor blades bushes are self lubricated and made with non polluting materials.

In some cases Francis turbines are in competition with Pelton because they are more compact than multi-jet Pelton and they can run at higher speed.
