Turbogen Engineering was set up in 1994 to design and built cogeneration plants with gas turbines. It was later expanded by incorporating engineers, highly specialized in design and construction of water turbines.

Our engineers have more than twenty years experience in the field of small and medium size hydro power plants, they have collaborative relationships with a number of high level companies operating in this field.

The activity of our hydro departement, started with "Officine Bühler", a small swiss turbine manufacturer. It continued, after the disappearance of this company, with engineering works for major turbine manufacturers like Ateliers des Charmilles in Geneva, Hydrovevey, De Pretto Escher-Wyss etc.

Our engineers have been involved in the construction and operation of some test laboratories, in the field of water turbines.
